As the girls woke up at 4:00am this morning and the sun started to shine at the end of breakfast, we decided to go for a walk in the Mont-Royal park. It’s really easy to get to from the flat, you just turn down avenue Mont-Royal and drive straight to the park.
We stopped at the “Maison Smith” and got out for a walk. Well it turned into a run as there was some sort of fun meet going on and Eleanor wanted to join in! So we ran/walked/stumbled down q hill until Valentine decided she wanted to walk to so we inched our way back up.
Parc Mont-Royal is amazing. It’s hard to imagine when you’re in the park that you’re so close to a major city. Everything is quiet, you can hear the birds singing, the trees are green (in August) and the air is fresh! We only visited a small part, but we’re looking forward to getting to know the rest.
